Hi Guys,

I’ve been looking at Roco BLS stuff on eBay, and I see there are a couple of different catalogue numbers for what appears to be the same EW coaches.

Are they all the same coaches but different production runs, or is there are difference? Also, are they scale 1:87 length?

I daresay your question leaves a couple of questions open, namely: which "EW" do you mean?

Here are a couple of possibilities:

All these (SBB) EW II with new catalogue numbers are new production runs of the meanwhile almost "ancient" coaches produced many years ago:

However, I don't seem to recall any recent re-runs of the BLS EW II coaches produced quite a while ago. That would make sense insofar as (at least AFAIK) those were not truly prototypical because the real BLS never had any EW II series coaches - all their units belonged to the previous EW I series.

Ok , that’s good to know. Maybe best if I save my pennies and wait for some EW1 coaches to come available.

Just out of curiosity, are all the Roco EWll coaches correct length?
