Hello all,
I went to my box of switches for a LH 5202 and noticed this 5140 with what appears to be guard rails made from regular M track rails. It has been on many layouts over the years. I can tell because of the way the wires are run straight down as opposed to through the factory grommet hole. I have been doing it this way for a very long time. Apparently I have never had an issue with this unit. It doesn't look factory at all but when looking underneath the bent tabs appear to be un-tampered with. Funny, I never noticed it.
Has any one ever seen one of these???
