Hello.

Last month I initiated and successfully completed the latest software update on my CS3.
I have just purchased a new article (switch) to be added onto my digital track board. After pressing the add article tab to CS3 I get screen (see first photo attached).
I enter switch number W19 with address #19 but there is no prompt for the next step? I touch that lower right pointing arrow (see 2nd photo attached) and get that
box displayed where I cannot make an additional step.
What am I doing wrong that I cannot continue to store this new article as it won't then appear on the Track Board page? It is different from the old
way of entering articles before this new update I did last month. In the Old way it just appeared on the track board page ready to use. What must I do to complete
addition of article? I look forward to your answer.
Thank you, Peter

PS - ITEM DOES APPEAR AND FUNCTION IN THE ARTICLE LIST BUT DOES NOT APPEAR ON TRACK BOARD SCREEN>

Hi Peter
on your first screen:
* you just pressed the + key to add a new article (at end of list)
* you changed the name W19
* you selected the protocol = MM
* you selected the address = 19
* you selected the type = right turn-out
So by leaving this screen when clicking on the edit key you store the result

Now, you need to edit you track plan while the list of devices is open and W19 is visible. This allows you to click and drag W19 were you want.
The screen below show how to insert sensors into the track plan. You can do similarly by sorting switches instead of sensors

cs3 Edit filters.png
Leaving the track plan edit mode will store your changes

By ordering a system shutdown, all your changes will be stored to be available on your next power-up.

I hope this helps (I understood you question right)
Cheers
Jean
