Hello,
I have just got a Märklin 55741 Köf II on eBay
This is a model with FX decoder from factory with only a horn as sound function,,,
I would ask if someone know what type of sound decoder, if possible, that fit this small modell ?
I would prefer a ESU Loksound decoder, mabye the Loksound L as I think the Loksound XL is to big ?
But is it room enough for the Loksound L decoder inside ?

 Hello Pål. I've seen several KöFs rebuild with a standard ESU H0-decoder; the motor is quite small and you usually don't pull a lot of wagons after a KöF  Per. |

I've also heard of H0 decoders being used in smaller G1 locos.
Certainly worth a go.
