Confused I hope this isn't a silly question, because I did it once before. I have a new mfx+ lcomotive I registerd into my CS3 yesterday. Do I also have to enter it into the MS2 while it is connected independantly of the CS3 first to get it to allow use by the ms2 as s a slave controller? The quick tutorial doesn't say. A month or so ago, when I first connected my ms2 to the cs3, I got my (already in ms2) 36180 br 193 Vectron to do it. I don't recall how. This was after I updated my new CS3, and the MS2 with version 3.55 updated when I connected it to it.
The ms2 loco positions are not all filled.
Thank's in advancve!

You certainly don’t need to add locos independently. that might not work so well.

Use the add “loco from list/loco from cs3” (SHIFT + Locomotive buttons on ms2) feature which will present a list from the cs3.

Thank's a ton! I wonder what I did last time? Maybe I used the shift key on the MS2, but I don't think I had the CS3 loco list open. If I did I don't think I added it. I wish I could get the complete user manual.

You can grab the manual from the Marklin site (someone has probably posted it here before - but I’m going to lazy copy paste it from source)

Thank you, but these are MS 2 manuals of which I have. I meant the CS3 complete book on operating trains digitally with the CS3 in english, not the tutorial which is basic.
