Hi all

Usually the production year of Märklin items can be determined fairly accurate by the print code of the boxes, but i have found a few exceptions:

I have a 3067 red /black, with "DSB" in thin font, first listed in 1975 catalogue, but box print code says 6/73, its a colored multi purpose box, with a 3067 sticker over the printed number on the box.

And then a 4076 SNCF Inox passenger car in a light blue box with image of the car, dated 5/65, but the 4076 first appeared in the 1973 catalogue, this box also have a sticker over the printed number on the box.

There is probably more examples than these exceptions, has anyone seen likewise?

Regards Per
