Yesterday I visited narrow rails (gauge 762 mm)for sugar manufacturing and transportation with my friend. Here are some picture i took for sharing with simple descriptions attached
Huwei sugar factory was built in 1907, which has been continuing operation since then. The sugar is made from sugar cane harvested from December to March of next year.
Locomotive made by Diema hauling the flat truck loading the sugar cane from farm is passing the level crossing and entering the factory.

The train with 50 empty wagons is leaving for the farm to collect the sugar cane.

The sugar rail passes through the elevated rail for high speed rail train.

Along the rail has some beautiful scenery
level crossing

endless sugar cane field

simple house for employee auditing the level crossing when the train is coming.

abandoned train stop

No barrier for level crossing

turnout for a branch line to load the sugar cane.

The next destination was Xizhou Sugar factory, which has not manufactured sugar for a long time and has been turned into a sightseeing location.
This train made by Hitachi is still in operation in a short route for sightseeing
As the train arrived at terminal Zuosuei, the locomotive uncoupled with coaches, reversing to the other end of train via a loop rail and backward to factory.

Back to the factory i found many heritages of narrow railroad facility
