Hmmm... given I've been purchasing them since my first trek to the Museum back in '87, I'll probably be sure to get one just to keep the collection going. Not too crazy about the design though. (Still looking to find my Trix wagen from this year... if anyone has an extra they're willing to part with, let me know.)

Marklin have been short supplying these for about 5 years. For the last three IMA shows (2015, 2017, 2019) they have been sold out completely before the IMA. For the 2020 one I had to go looking on ebay.de.

I see what you mean ...

But then there are various things in English that don't translate into other languages.
One that comes to mind is a rolls Royce model name that means sh*t in Spanish ... Blushing

But what puzzles me is why they use a different model boxcar for the HO one to the G1 and Z ones - don't they have the same model in all three scales?

And the Trix one is listed as representing 1960, although it seems to be an older model Gl boxcar mit bremserhaus than the Marklin HO one which is listed as Gl22 representing 1959 ...

There's a big chimney lineside near Plochingen with DICK emblazoned upon it and a quick plunge into the Dick company fan site reveals girls T shirts for sale with the legend "I love Dick" printed across the front. Christmas stocking filler? Something lost in translation?
