I am finally back to railway modelling after many years, and I've got some issues which need to be fixed:

- Rust on the rails (how do I get rid of it and how do I treat the rails)?
- Rail joiners missing or not in the right position
- Rails deformed (how do I put them back into position)?

The forum has repeatedly explained how to save M from rust, if it is heavily affected it is better to get others
Rail joinres can be purchased separately if they are missing and if they are on the wrong side they should be removed with small pointed pliers
Deformed rails can be slightly aligned with your fingers (usually the middle is sunken), but if it is too bent or even slightly broken, it is better to
forget about them!
Today, M rails on eBay are cheap
