I recently acquired through a local ad the below Faller HO kits. All are complete except B-252 which is an empty box. Too bad because it looks like a really neat house. However, I did get two B-271 kits that are complete. The real prize of course is the B-160 which includes a pump.

Nice score. That Fountain is very desirable and not the easiest to find either.

Are these to collect or do you intend to build and place on your layout?

Hi
This kis a great purchase with very nice models.
The fountain B160 is great and I had one on my first layout in 1966.
IMO if you plan to assemble it you need to fix 2 things (drawbacks from initial design). Once assembled it is too late:
- the water flow from the first (top) sprouts. Instead of flowing in a natural manner it flows on the wall
- there is a very nice illumination of the fountain but the "tower" walls need black paint on the inside to avoid unrealistic illumination
See here a nice version but still with poor water flow

Cheers
Jean
