Hi,

Plugs and wires used by Marklin have always followed their color scheme for analog.

Red and brown wire with red and brown plugs are always used for track power.

Brown wire with brown plug will also go to an analog switch box.

Blue wire with green and red plugs from analog turnouts to analog switch box.

Yellow wire with yellow plug to yellow from transformer for turnouts (lighting and "+" lead).

Signals follow the same color scheme as turnout with the exception of an entry signal with a blue wire and an orange plug.

Blue wire with red, green or orange plugs from a circuit track to signals or turnouts corresponding to their action.

Grey wire with grey plug is for scenic lighting.

Digital color scheme is basically the same if analog components are to be used with the exception of blue wire is not only from circuit track, but also from contact track or reed contact to s88.

Rick
