I imagine that it has been posted here before, but I (re)discovered this Pilentum video of an amazing layout which was in Berlin for several years.

It was apparently dismantled 3 years ago - does anyone know what became of it? It would be a real shame if it was just scrapped. In any case, a great layout video:

AFAIK, it was dismantled and sold to other operators in parts. The largest part should have survived here: https://leeraner-miniaturland.de and https://de.wikipedia.org...ki/Leeraner_Miniaturland

I feel fortunate to have seen this layout a couple times. Once at the original location and once at the shopping center location. I also enjoyed the hobby shop that they ran with it and bought a few things there. Glad to hear that a good portion of the layout has survived!

I saw the layout with my son when in Berlin in June, 2013. It was located in a shopping centre near the Alexander Platz. We were both impressed with the detail and quirky scenes. When returned to Berlin with my partner in May 2018 it was gone.

The Leeraner group posts videos on YouTube, where you can see the progress on the work needed to set up the layout again.
It seems to me that they are crying a lot... :-/
