Team, I bumped into this simple yet super impressive layout and I wanted C track equivalent of this layout. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Edit: isaw another post that speaks of this foldable layout.

Love it.

I guess a C track version could go something like this:

Thank you so much,Herman! Did you create this plan using software like Scarm? If yes, could you share with me the project file or track inventory? The image of the plan you shared is big enough to come up with track inventory through manual counting. Before that just wanted to check with you.
Regards,
Madhu

Hello David, could you post the the thread's link here? I searched for "Fritz Berger" on the forum and I got only one thread related to this layout.

I created it with RailModeller on a Mac. It is just a quick draft - you could mess with it and make it bigger in different directions.

Here's the inventory list:

Thank you so much Herman!!! Much appreciated! This might as well be my next layout.
You should be able to upload the project file by archiving it in .zip format
(The forum allows these file formats: *.avi, *.bmp, *.doc, *.flv, *.gif, *.jpeg, *.jpg, *.mov, *.mp3, *.mp4, *.mpg, *.pdf, *.png, *.rar, *.rm, *.tif, *.txt, *.wav, *.wma, *.wmv, *.wpd, *.xls, *.zip)

It has definitely been posted on the forum before. But there was no more information than just the video. Must be at least a couple of years ago it was posted.

I love this layout, but can't help but feel a little more action could be done in that space? The outer loop + folded dogbone theme can be done in ~4x7 feet or less, albeit with less sidings and station.

Of course this depends on how many trains you care to run at once, and your interest in signalling etc, but with the extra space I see opportunity for an extra loop or some modifications to keep 2 loops running but shunt on top of it without interruption.

Just my thoughts. Its a great layout, but I feel a few tweaks could make more of the space.

John, could you draw a rough sketch or superimpose your ideas using MS paint on the track plan shared by Herman?
