Steam-hauled service trains disappeared from Europe long ago.
However, some unexpected spots remain where steam locomotives are used on a regular basis, shunting and -sometimes- venturing on the mainlines, as is the case in a number of collieries in Bosnia and Serbia, as shown in the present video.

Featuring ex-Yugoslavian Railways classes 33 (2-10-0, ex DRG),
62 (local copies of US 0-6-0T war locomotives)
126 (ex-Hungarian Railways 0-6-0) and a number of narrow gauge (760 mm) locomotives.

At 1:36 , this is the first time EVER, I saw two steam locomotives running back to back with each other. Ive seen diesel engines do this all the time, but never steam

15:00 I don't think I've ever seen a real steam loco pull shipping containers before! I thought that line was just for coal!

26:45 wow! a 100+ year old steam loco that's still in regular service!

After I finished watching the whole video, I had to go back to 6:30 to watch that standing start again!

You're welcome. If you watch via YouTube there are a few more similar ones in the following video selections. I just don't post all of them as you normally check out the next few anyway
