If improperly adjusted will hear click w/o the motor running - if nothing happens when pushing one red button on control then check the ring contacts between the bridge and the bottom Cheers Jean

The motor in mine just makes a click sound and does not run at all (just like you mentioned). Warmest regards Dhyan
