Hi all,

I just got this 3011 in the red cardbox with the 1956 type 6 coupling.

First I thought the box and the locomotive wouldn't fit as this looks like e 1956 SET 800, but after having a look at the inside, this fits perfectly together.

The FRU is type 2175 with the long leafspring, which was intruduced shortly after the 1957 Nuremberg toy fair.

So this loco is propably March 1957.

I have one example of this loco that came in a SET 800 labelled box with cardboard inside and with type 6 couplings so I assumed 1956. Unfortunately they were broken and I have had to replace them with something more modern.

Those type 6 couplers (Breitvorentkupplung) are hard to find. At least they are for me.....I’ve been trying to find one for my TM 800 locomotive for a long time. If anybody knows where to find these please let us know.....BigGrin
