We're still in the grip of winter here in the Cape, South Africa, so a good clean up of track is called for! This afternoon ran one of my small tank locos coupled with a cleaning car and pads, and a wagon with a slider...a good few laps running at a fairly high rate of knots, and all is smooth running again around the main lines! Then onto cleaning my shunting lines..... After an hour or so I could sit back and watch the trains go by again🚂👍🏻🚂 Cant wait for those summer days again   Happy training one and all🚂 Joe |

Regards Stephen Hi Stephen First I run the cleaning wagon and a car with a slider attached by hand. Backwards and forward for a good few times. Then I run a tank loco on the shunting line at "high speed", being careful to stop at the end of the line in time  .... Takes time but after a few manual runs and then with attached Loco it works a treat! Joe🚂👌 |
