A couple of days ago I put my mfx BR64 on the track. It registered on position 11 of my master, but I wanted it on one of the other 10 positions. I did finally get it onto position 3, but it registered as a blank locoHuh and all the positions F0 through F7 were blank as wellConfused . It did operate the sounds etc when pressed in the order I remembered so I deleted it then put the loco card in that I had stored its information on. Using the loco card, it registered with all the right information stored.Cool
Read here that I had not needed to store the info on a loco card. Both my MS2 were updated some time ago but looks like I will update them to the latest version fairly soon in case that cures the above problem.

PS. Some time ago I read that we cant run a loco on one of the MS2's, then change over to the other MS2 when running through one track box. I can do it with mine though!!!!Blink

Sounds as if you deleted the loco completely so it had to register again, but it registered incompletely.
No need to delete the loco to bring it to a different position. Just go to the desired slot and select the loco from the loco list.

This didn't work in the early days (with version 1.3 or so), but it works for a very long time now (was it version 1.5?). And it works for me without loco card.
