I am looking for Marklin model #s for a set or each car of the set of 3 (1st class, 2nd class & Cab Car) Light Green, DR S-Bahn cars that I have.

Other than color, they are exactly the same as a set of Orange ones with Model #s, 4183, 4184 and 4185.

Can anyone help?

Do you have a photo of your models? I could not find any DR version of those coaches. Just DB ones in orange/white and other DB liveries.

Hmm, is it # 4258, 4259 & 4260?
Light green S-bahn type.

Those are Silberlinge painted in the DB 1980s Regio livery. They are not DR and not the same as the 4183/84/85 type.

I've never seen anything like what you describe, and they aren't mentioned on Helmut Kern's database. Could they have been a special version for a specific shop, or an undocumented export version?

Small C track layout, control by MS2, 100+ trains but run 4-5 at a time.

As a model from Märklin I cannot find anything you are describing. Only this model train I found.

https://www.maerklin.de/...te/details/article/26509

https://www.maerklin.de/...e/details/article/43208/

But this is a long distance train of the Deutsche Reichsbahn in the DDR.

It is about 25 to 30 years ago, I remember light green double floor trains of the real former Deutsche Reichsbahn (at the time I saw them, it was the DB already), which were used in bigger cities like Dresden as a S-Bahn and yes these trains were push-pull trains

https://en.wikipedia.org.../Push%E2%80%93pull_train

as well and had cab cars of course. But I cannot remember any model in H0 from these car types.

These pictures are all from real trains.

Finally I found a video with green (not light green - or do you mean the colour mint?) wagons. But these models are not from Märklin, they are from Rivarossi.

"Roco Br. 112 DR gesupert, gealtert und mit ESU Sound 4.0 mit einem Wendezug ( Dosto Rivarossi )" are the description to this video in the line beneath.

From what I remember in 1985, when I was in Berlin/DDR, I remember seeing those double deck cars, in Berlin and even in Braunschweig (BRD). They were either in that green livery or in a two tone brown livery. As far as I can remember, Piko had a set of those Doppelstock Gliederzug cars. Try 53120 or maybe 57135 for a set with a diesel Lok.
I don't know if Piko has this lok in AC. Roco did manufacture some similar models in AC.
