I have misplaced a few of the Marlin pick up shoe screws and m track pints screws. I am doing another small project which requires 2mmx4mm bolts and nuts so when checking Ebay, I see there are 4 mm pitch and 4.5 mm pitch,.
Can anyone please help identify the marklin pitch so I can order the same.

Bugger there goes my keyboard. I just spilt 1/4 glass of red wine all over it. Just relaxing after a busy day finishing of mounting our towel rails etc in our tiled bathroom.

Hi Adrian, I spilt the bloody wine before I wrote that question. No wonder I got the decimal point in the wrong place. 0.4 mm it is then. many thanks for the offer to get some for me. I need to work out just what I need and there seem to be plenty on the internet although I think cheese head would be better for this scale.. Posi drive is the best but I would need to buy a miniature screw driver as well.

That's good Stuart. It got me checking the screws that hold the bodies on locos as well and they all appear to be the same thread. I can get plenty and I dont have to be too concerned about the ones that get dropped on the carpet from now on. The last one I dropped just vanished!!

Hi Adrian, i'll have to remember that when I chuck out my oldest computer. I nearly threw this one the other night while attempting to reply on post 3. I saw today it was a glitch in the system. Whew
