Hi everyone.

I haven't posted much here recently as life has claimed my attention elsewhere. It's probably not going to get much better in the future, because I've recently sold much of my gauge 1 rolling stock - including the wonderful BR50 - to finance a new video camera and some N scale stuff. Yes, I'm switching scales yet again.

Long story for another day at the camp fire.

This Sunday Stefan once again invited the guys to "open garden" on his indoor/outdoor gauge 1 layout. This time I brought no trains along, but I did bring my new camera - a Canon HF-G40 - to try it out for the first time. Additionally this video has been edited entirely with Blender for the first time, so iMovie is no longer relevant. Blender is not for the faint of heart, but dang, the features and end result is much better.

Enjoy BigGrin

That Nohab sounds really nice, and the long shots of the electric loco with the long string of hopper wagons looked as realistic as one could get, is only the track was ballasted. BigGrin

Some nice super elevation on the curves around what looks like a patio area.

Nice video, look forward to some more.

Nice camera!
Was any one hurt when the Nohab smashed into the shed on the transfer table?
I noticed a poor fellow was lying on the ground possibly from a previous encounter with a Lok.
This is why one should always have their cell phone on them for such emergencies.

Thanks for sharing. I have been following Stefan's channel for some time now, seen much of the progress out his outdoor layout. Great railroading!

The dragonfly or whatever it was that flew into one of the shots looked like a bloody pterodactyl at this scale. Scared
