I spent some time recently operating all my engines at super slow speeds, just sort of comparing them. I used both my Rokuhan and Snail Speed controllers. What I found particularly interesting was that once an engine stops at super slow speed it usually requires the "hand of god" intervention to get it goin again. So regardless of controller used or loco run, and they all have their different running characteristics, that was a common result. Maybe it is because the motor stalls at a "dead spot" when running so slow?
