Just upgraded my ECoS to 4.2.5. Really nice to see ESU continuing to support the original 50000 model. Again, thanks for letting us know about this update!

I am getting back into our trains again and tried to login into ESU as my fathers old computer died and with it the login and password ( yes not written down)

I sent an e-mail to ESU with our serial number and the tone of the email reply was somewhat bewildering as like I have stolen the bloody thing and who we bought it from and when.

Now awaiting a response if they will give us access again as I included photos of the device and still have the bloody box in prime condition.

Jacko, you need to use a password manager such as Keepass to store all of your passwords. Make sure you keep more than one copy of the file, and keep both copies up to date - have one as a master and the other as a backup copy.

Keepass is free to use.

I recommend using an online password manager where the data does not only exist on one computer. Such as LastPass or similar. You also get apps and browser plugins for convenience.
