ICE 4 Train Consist - How many coaches are people thinking of buying?

Joined: 05/12/2008(UTC) Posts: 1,677 Location: Crozet, Virginia		I find it interesting that Märklin is making it possible to build an ICE 4 with the full consist of 12 units. But I also wonder how many people have layouts large enough to handle such a massive train, which by my calculation would be 360 cm long. The way they are selling it you could have 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, or 12 units, although I suspect that either 5, 8 or 9 units will be the most common. If you are considering this train, how many units do you plan to buy?

If I buy it I'll buy all the cars for the complete train. My layout is only 3 meters... In length so it won't run on my layout in a full train but I find it hard to find extra cars when those type of trains has gone out of production. I had problems finding the restaurant car set for my TGV.
