Experimenting with a bit of LGB. My "layout" comprises a few straight tracks a digital lok from the starter set plus one electric turnout and decoder 55524. The decoder set itself up fine on my CS2 via MFX and works the turnout however the diagram on the keyboard is the wrong way round for straight to curved. Swapped the track leads no change. Started to head into DCC CV's and realised I did not know what I am doing so I thought I'd ask before I mess it up.

Expect to get told off by the purists - this is a Marklin Forum etc

Yes it is, but LGB is a Marklin brand so no one should have an issue with it being talked about.

It shouldn't matter if other brands are talked about, no one has any issues when ESU controllers, decoders and locos are talked about and that shouldn't be any different for other brands.

Juhan has always made it very clear that discussions on other brands are most welcome.

If you don't want to mess with CVs swap the EPL drive to the other side of the turnout. It is easy to do. The two screw holes are already there.

Edit added: Please ignore the above. It was a "brain fart" on my part. Blushing The only way to affect a mechanical "polarity change" is to rotate the switch motor 180º - not swapping sides on the turnout. This can be accomplished on the R5 turnouts by carefully cutting away the end of the last tie (or sleeper) on the entrance side to make room for the motor's mounting tab. The R1 and R3 turnouts don't allow this option.
