Hi,

An interesting series started on Wednesday night, on BBC4 at 9pm. It's about the travails at Hornby; but I guess the story applies to a lot of model manufacturers. You can catch-up on the BBC iPlayer.

Not bad but little about the reasons and lots about the models. If you were expecting some description of horby’s business problems then this isn’t the program that you thought

My Daughter and I were interviewed at length for this at GETS at MK back in November and we must have ended up on the cutting room floor unless we appear in Part 2 next week but I doubt it as I think the narrative has moved on beyond that point now.

Its the normal thing, UK viewers of BBC only. As the programming is paid for by the UK license payers, its required the rest of the world doesn't get to see it for free.
stuff on BBC America only shows much after its been seen on BBC in the UK, for example.

That said, its likely someone will post it on YouTube (if you can catch it before the BBC has it taken down)...

There's some sort of fake link on Youtube, you have to watch the video they post to get the download link....

Most of those scumbags want you to to sign up and pay to access content which was broadcasted free to air....

Y'all, I don't model British outline even though I am of Anglo-Irish heritage, but this was an incredible hour of television and I want to run out and purchase an Airfix Helcat kit! Love

I'm certainly interested in the Airfix reissue of the 1:144 scale kit of the Saturn V rocket which Airfix are releasing for the Apollo 11 50 year anniversary this year.

A very good watch even here in the Seattle area thanks to the sneaker net delivery and Apple TV and screen mirroring via the google drive share playback in safari.

There needs to be a special circle in hell for the managers and executives and even investors who harvest from companies in a way that destroys irreplaceable artifacts like the moulds for what I assume was scrap metal prices.

I haven't watched it all yet, but there were some pretty shellshocked reactions when they realised those moulds were gone.

Hope Marklin never ends up in that situation.
