This is the second of two problems and will create separate post for each. This second item is more a question.

Background

I have 1 L88 and to it I have connected 2 S88 to Bus1 and 2 S88 to Bus 2. The memory address blocks are
L88 A,B
Bus 1 C,D,E,F
Bus 2 G,H,I,J

Under set up, the version is 4.1.2(3) and the tool/devices screen shows Links S88(2931) ID = 115
On the memory tab each 8 row shows the hand/loc (far right) and within any cell (for example 6) loc at bottom is to the right and the address is entered (6 in this example, 1006 for the contact on Bus1, cell6) and on the ... tab, the loc is to the right and the 115 shows.

I set up a shuttle route between two villages and I use 2 circuit tracks to communicate to the S88. One circuit track is connected to contact point 1025 and the other to 2001.

I programmed each memory address and entered the information into the locomotive. Hopefully this picture explains my puzzlement. The address for the start and end shows as 1024. I entered 1025 and 2001 but it changes upon saving to 1024. The shuttle runs fine. Why does 1024 appear? Can I not then use 1024 for something else?

Here is a picture of my shuttle route(still under construction). My wife likes it.

Known bug.

Marklin do not care enough to do anything about it.

if you look at the http://192.168.1.xxx/config/pendelzug.cs2 file you will see something like
lok
.uid=0x400a
.s88a=1026
.s88m=2030
.s88e=3025
.deviceId=0x32b
.geschwindigkeit=20
.wartezeit=5

to show that the higher numbers are recorded, Thus it is a UI display issue.
