Hello,

Just thinking about prototypical operation of a railbus with trailer car (ie. VT95.9 with VB140) in regards to terminal stations.

Given the trailer is unpowered I am guessing that it is unable to travel in reverse like a railcar and would need to reposition the VT95.9 control car to the other side?

In which case I need to replace the link bars on my 39955 with CCC's so that it can uncouple to perform reversing manoeuvre.

Just as I post this I discovered the answer on stummis for myself.

The answer is yes, the trailer car has no control cab so it cannot be used at the front and you would need to replace the drawbars with couplers.
Except that the couplers sit too low on this model and would catch on points. Therefore you must run it in a loop only ThumbDown
