Trying to identify some Beer Cars

Joined: 11/08/2015(UTC) Posts: 1,091		Trying to identify the last few beer cars that I can't find in Kolls catalogue, Obviously they're of the 4415 variety but would like to find out their Kolls number, or whether they were part of a set, or at least something. Any information welcome

Joined: 05/03/2016(UTC) Posts: 347 Location: England, Bedford		Can't tell you much. The Burg Brau wagons come from Upper Austria. The Gotz Bier is from Geislingen (of Steige fame) on the Stuttgart - Munich line and near to Goppingen, the home of Marklin. Some of these cars are locally commissioned by model shops, heritage railway societies, model railway clubs (MISTs) and the breweries themselves, so they don't make it to the Marklin catalogue. IanC

IanC Yes, all true There was a Gotz beer car with the Swiss 4400 series, not one of these, so was optimistic that they were an actual set - there is also a red one like the Märzenbier. I think these are going to remain elusive alas

Any information welcome Not easy to find anything, because the Burg-Bräu was obviously be brewed by the contractual brewery Raschhofer http://www.raschhoferbier.at/ from Austria - as it is written on the wagons.
