20190125_185002.jpg20190125_184757.jpg20190125_184919.jpg It's a nice looking loco and it runs nicely if a little nosily due to the pickup skate. It will go round 1st radius curves although it's not too keen on Ctrack curved points but it will run through them, just expect a little bit of trouble. The motor is in the tender driving the 1st and 4th axle with axles 2&3 having generous side play for curves and points. Connecting the tender to the loco for the first time involves fitting a screw (supplied) into the tender so that you can connect the loco to it and then you have to plug in a little plug to a socket on the rear loco truck. The only function on the loco are the train lights with both red and white on the tender and only white on the loco. Out of curiosity I looked up the catalogue numbers for the Marklin version and after changing the address to that of the loco I found that it ran and the lights worked.
Pros) Runs nicely goes round 1st radius curves and comes with extra detail
Cons) A little fiddly to set up skate noise and has trouble with curved points
