Hi Marklin friends,

I considered putting this in model railroad software or digital, but didn't quite fit. I am a collector of vintage Marklin and recently have been modeling some older 00 models in 3D software like https://www.blender.org/ which is similar to a CAD program.

I think had the idea to build a virtual collection of all the models that I have in 3D... similar to a video game for model railroading. So I modeled an old library with wood shelves, etc. in a video game engine and will soon virtually display all the 3D Marklin models.

I am curious if anyone in this group also does 3D modeling or video game design? As you can imagine this is time-consuming work and it would be cool to share with each other what we have built as a community. My dream would be to have an accurate 3D model of all the old Marklin items so that one day there could be a complete virtual museum.
