its a work of love, but what is scary what becomes of this layout when the old gent dies? It looks fixed and built in ... to get it out through the trapdoor? If their children don't want it or don't keep the house etc then it's hidden and buried forever

Full marks for effort!

I wonder about problems with damp? It all looks nice and dry but my experience of under-floor spaces is that they are often damp and dirty. I wonder how he keeps it all looking so good.

Small C track layout, control by MS2, 100+ trains but run 4-5 at a time.

I like to talk to husband, Oh, he is in the basement playing with trains, he hasn't behaved the best this week so I stood on the trapdoor.

Hello Utkan,

*"NO YOU CANNOT HAVE YOUR OWN TRAIN ROOM", but you can have your own flat(train house)....

I hope you and your lovely wife don't mind if I let the world know your true song:

“If I had a million dollars.”

Original Songwriters: Ed Robertson / Steven Page
Michelvr changed some words to make this your song,

If I had a million dollars (if I had a million dollars)
Well I'd buy you a house (I would buy you a house)
And if I had a million dollars (if I had a million dollars)
I'd buy you Marklin trains for your house (maybe a nice BR 491, DB
Class 491 Powered Observation Rail Car or an Class 03 Passenger Steam Locomotive with a Tender)
And if I had a million dollars (if I had a million dollars)
I'd buy you a Class E 60 Electric Locomotive a nice reliant engine)
And if I had a million dollars I'd buy your love
If I had a million dollars I'd build a LGB layout in our yard
If I had a million dollars you could help, it wouldn't be that hard
If I had a million dollars maybe we could put a big room in there somewhere
(You know we could just go play the and hang out)
(Like open the door and stuff and, girl, there'd be trains laid out for us)
(With little freight cars and tank cars and things, hmm)
(They have pre-wrapped tanker cars but they don't have pre-wrapped box cars)
(Can you blame them? Yeah)
If I had a million dollars (if I had a million dollars)
I'd buy you a Platinum Millenium Crocodile (but not a real crocodile that's cruel)
And if I had a million dollars (if I had a million dollars)
Well I'd buy you an (yep, like a steamer or an diesel )
And if I had a million dollars (if I had a million dollars)
Well I'd buy you Hans-Peter Porsche TraumWerk (all them crazy Marklin trains)
And if I had a million dollars I'd buy your love
If I had a million dollars we wouldn't have to walk to the store
If I had a million dollars we'd take a TGV 'cause it costs more
If I had a million dollars we wouldn't have to eat Manti dinner
(But we would eat Manti dinner)
(Of course we would, we'd just eat more)
(And buy really expensive condiments with it)
(That's right, all the fanciest condiments , hmm)
If I had a million dollars (if I had a million dollars)
Well I'd buy you a train running around your dress (but not a real train on your dress, that's cruel)
And if I had a million dollars (if I had a million dollars)
Well I'd buy you some art ( an original Peter Bomhard or a Painting-by-numbers: Steam locomotive class 01)
If I had a million dollars (if I had a million dollars)
Well I'd buy you a Gouldian Finch(haven't you always wanted a Gouldian Finch?!)
If I had a million dollars I'd buy your love
If I had a million dollars, if I had a million dollars
If I had a million dollars, if I had a million dollars
If I had a million dollars, if I had a million dollars

Your pictures show what true love is all about!

Here is the original song:

Regards,

Michel

Thank you very much for the every line...ThumpUp
So let me say...
If I had a chance, I would make sure you would be guest in Marklinistanbul. RollEyes
Cheers,
mehmet
