Hi,
I ordered some Rokuhan Track 8 days ago and it did have a long delivery time.
However I have tried to find out from them what customs and taxes will be applicable.
Amazon state that this will show on the invoice.
After numerous email I have not had one reply and a despatch time of 5 working days has passed.
I will probably cancel this but wondered in anyone had ordered from Japan to UK and what is involved.
Buying from the US is prohibitory expense when delivery and customs are factors in...and there is also the possibility of further costs.
Any advice welcomed.

UPDATE:
(Just been informed that it has been posted...Amazon say I need not keep it. A bit in limbo here as I probably have to wait until May 4th. Hey Ho.)

Sorry about not replying before but I've only just come across this thread. I bought from Japan and the shop put 'toys' on the customs declaration - no tax was requested! I've bought from abroad several times and sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. It seems to be completely random.

When bringing train items from Europe to USA by plane , I always just put model trains on the customs declaration, since US does not charge customs fees on model train items.
