I have just been doing a fly over on Google earth dated 3 / 26 /2017 of Stuttgart checking out the tram museum at Bad Cannstatt which re opens at the end of this month for a 150 year jubilee of tram service . I then went east to Goppingen & looking at the M factory it seems there is a building being demolished on the corner of Stuttgarter & Resuch Stra , it is beside the newer building where there is motor vehicle entry into a car park . is this the area of the new Museum , shop & technical advice / repairs ?

I don't know if they've got this planned but they should have the following at the new Museum.

1. New C Track layout.

2. New K Track layout.

3. New Retro 1960s M Track layout.

4. LGB layout.

5. 1 Gauge layout.

6. Z Gauge layout.

PLUS all the old museum favorites. Peter. BigGrin

According to Stephen's video of the museum, none of the above seems to be in the museum. It's basically a shop with a bistro.
Take it easy . . . . or any other way you can get it !!!!

Merged Kurt's thread with this one as the BR44 relocation has been discussed previously in this thread - no need for two threads covering the same topic!

So we name it "The new Sitting Bull"?Love

P.S.:
At that place where the new "Sitting Bull" is now standing, I always parked my car while I was visiting Märklin at its IMA days. This yard is pretty close to the entrance of a part of the Märklin production and for the Märklin canteen Love(excellent food there)Love. Only a few steps away. So I am looking forward where I may park next time.Laugh
