I was swapping out the normal coupler for a close coupler on one of my Roco Traxx locomotives (BR 185.5).
As I removed the coupler, the little spacer that mounts on the rear of the coupler and affixes to the coupling shaft seems to have flown off and is missing.
I contacted Roco and asked for a confirmation that the part is part of the 123029 parts bag. I was told that this item includes the coupling shaft, the coupling guide and the spacer.
It arrived from my dealer today and I was looking forward to completing the work on the locomotive. To my surprise, I noted that the baggie contained only the coupling shaft and the guide, but did not include the spacer.
I contacted both Roco and the dealer and am hoping to hear back, but it has been at least 6 months since the original spacer went missing and I would like to get it done.

Has anybody here needed to replace this part and what was the part number that you ordered, just to ensure that I ordered the right part?
Here are two photos of the part, taken from the other end of the locomotive:

Also, what is the proper German term for this part? Deichseldistanzstueck? Deichselverlaengerungsteil?

Thank you and regards

Hi!

Piko call it "Distanzhülse". I don't know if I ever saw a name for it with Roco.

So maybe use "Distanzhülse für die Kupplungsaufnahme" for a more precise term. But I'm a native German and Roco is so outlandish, so their terminology could be completely different.
Regards
Tom
