It's the time of the year again!
ETE SF Bay Area is hosting the 22nd annual EuroWest model train show in San Carlos, CA in 21-22th July 2018.

I'm myself working on ETE SoCal layout as usual. Hope to see familiar faces from the forum!

Regards,
Juha

Looking forward to it myself: I've held off several purchases recently just in case there's something there I've been searching for... and there usually is!

Nice meeting you, Juha and thanks for stopping by!

This was my first time exhibiting a layout, so I was a mostly tied to the small N scale area. But from what I heard so far from others, all-in-all the event went well.

Always a great time for me and, yes, I found that elusive Maerklin 423 Station Platform I've been searching for... complete with the sign that's usually missing! Big thank you to the Lone Star ETE guys for their first time attending (and all the goodies you brought with you): hope to see you again next year!

I stopped by and talked to you for a little bit about your beautiful German countryside layout. I was the guy with the little girl. N Scale was most definitely a minority but a good showing nonetheless. Thanks for representing N Scale.

I went to the show with the intention of just going to see the beautifully done ETE Setups and of course beautiful European trains but those darn seller tables and ended walking around and looking at all the offering. It's not often I get to see what I'm buying first hand as most of my Marklin purchases are done online so I took this opportunity to get a couple of nice locomotives and at great prices too.

Glad you could stop by. There were just three of us N scalers (myself and a father/son team), so we were definitely outnumbered by at least 10:1.

We all had fun and there's nothing better than seeing all the little kids faces light up when a little 'Choo-choo' comes by BigGrin

Thank you for the pictures. I noticed something you don't see at most North American train shows, people with big smiles!BigGrin

Wish I could have been there!
