Good evening everyone, I'm looking for goods wagons, or passenger coaches, like 4411. I need them with NEM pockets as I do not want to start changing the whole coupling system as I did on the 4411. Why ? I have a few locos that are 2 rail, converted to Marklin but without pick up shoe. I use conducting couplers to power the engines and I have a few, of the ones that I bought back, that need running  Unfortunately Marklin is a bit 'rare' in UK and I do not know which other coaches / wagons are out there that could be good for me. Do you guys have any ideas on this matter? Thank you Marco

You mean that you are using a "ghost wagon" to power the loco? The thing is to have a wagon of any kind that can accommodate the slider underneath, rail ground can be connected at the loco end so you can use any wagon you want.... I presume these are from brands other than Märklin/HAMO ? Any original HAMO Loco should still have the tooling to take a pickup shoe with ease.
And many other brands also had 3-rail versions although getting the correct parts could be difficult.

Hi Marco, Look for 46900 and 46909. But attention: Not all cars have couplers on both sides. Most cars only have a coupler on one side, but Märklin also delivered cars with couplers on both sides. Regards Markus

Hi Everyone, locos are Roco and Rivarossi / Hornby so no place for a 'slider ' / 'pick up shoe' anywhere.
Trix locos only need a 'slider' and they are ready to go so this is not a problem for me.
The idea of the 'ghost wagon' is easy and practical when I want to use NON Marklin locos, which I have finished doing as I now look only for ready to run digital Marklin stuff or other brands already converted at factory.
I'll have a look at these items 46900 and 46909
