First there's the 3:15 pm SUV that got smacked by the regional train at an unguarded crossing by ignoring the flashing red lights, killing the two motor vehicle occupants

Then at 9:20pm a regional train in the state of Bavaria ran into a freight train in the station of Aichach , along a single track line between the cities of Ingolstadt (where Audi's HQ is) and Augsburg (where the world renowned housing for the poor, Fugerei, is located ) , killing two people, the train's engineer/operator and a passenger.

The 24 year old rail dispatcher has been arrested; the passenger train was switched onto track 2 of the station in Aichach , where a freight train was parked at the time, leading to the collision. Police are strongly considering charges of negligent homicide, as the actions or inactions of the dispatcher routed the passenger train into the freight train, rather than around it on the empty track as it should have been done.

Not all of them. If the road is very light traffic like a back road and the rail line is light usage then there are only the flashing lights. There are still enough idiot drivers that ignore signals or drive around 1/2 arms that get themselves killed because they think they know better.
