Hi all, Got this email the other day & I felt compelled to publish it here for all those who have given up on their Zinkpest riddled Seetal's. It reads as follows:

Hello Dave,
Please let it be know to the Marklin users forum that the frame for 37521 will be soon available in our Märklin service center.
It has been completely redesigned by us with a new mould and in pure zamak !!
If you want more info you can contact me at: commerciale@modeltreno.com
ciao
Flavio

I have been informed the cost of said frame is EUR50.00.

Please note I have no commercial interest in this notification

he is also a member of this forum, and posted in the thread about the Seetal chassis having zinkpest. he then appears to have emailed everyone that posted on that thread.

A great concept, the problem is we will still need the gears updated. Unless the modern Marklin replacement parts are a direct swap and more reliable than the old ones
