Sorry, apologies for it not being a Marklin topic...but not sure where else to ask the question.

Is my memory playing tricks or do I remember Rivarossi AC models of the old brown FS railcars, things like ALn, ALb, ALe etc?

They bring back memories of childhood holidays in Italy during the '50s.

Your memory is fine ThumpUp - here is one of those rare items on Italian Ebay: https://www.ebay.it/itm/...ssima-Lc20-/252218077884

Hi- if relevant, the new ones are usually quite easily converted to 3 rail as well. I've done a few, and there is one on my workbench now awaiting a brawa slider!

Congratulations, excellent collection!

In the second picture of the more recent versions are the model numbers something like 1789/1790 with the dummies being 2463 and 2464?

I will start looking for something DC to convert, I fear that anything original AC will be a touch expensive, didn't realise that Rivarossi was so highly valued.
