Hello,
My new Marklin MFX+ locos register well on my Ecos, but I cannot program the CVs on the programming track... I get an Error message...
My software version is 4.2.2.
Thank you for your help,
François.

... and you do not share this error message with us. Neither do you tell us which screens you are using and what you try to achieve.

You cannot use DCC to program CVs in an mfx/mfx+ decoder unless you disable mfx in the ECoS.
Make the changes on the loco properties screens, not on the CV programming screen.

Tom

Hello,
Thank you for your answer.
I tried programming on the DCC programming screen and the Error message appeared on the page between the CV reading input area and the CV writing input area, saying "Error writing". Bur I can read CVs.
I am basically trying to program the CV5...
Then when I try on the Motorola programming page I also have this error message.

Where do you disable mfx in the Ecos ?

For mfx locos you can change that on one of the loco properties screens. That's the way I'd try first.

Märklin implemented DCC in a way that does not work well in my experience.
ESU calls mfx "M4". Just disable "M4" on the protocols page of the ECoS configuration if you want to try the DCC way.
