The MTH Europe site has linked some dealers, but I can't seem to find any M.klin 3-rail locos.

I'm looking for the diesel GE Dash 9 with sound.

If you know any European dealers please let me know.

Dry rails!

Yes, thanks, just found them. I e-mailed them. They have only one Dash 9, and it's on back order from the US. They provided me with this link

https://www.walthers.com...20?match=AND&q=3E%2B

when I told them, I had a difficult time finding what I need. I can't seem to filter out the three rail compatible ones on the RD site.
They ARE quick to respond, though.

They may have what I need. E-mailed them. Can anyone recommend this shop?

Looking at other posts in this forum, MTH doesn't seem to good at producing 3 rail models for a long time. It looks like you have to jump and buy stuff as soon as it is announced, otherwise you'll miss the production run.

If you look at the 80-2286-5 for example, it is marked as completely sold out, with the following explanation:

"If this item is from the most recent catalog, it may still be in the order cycle. Please check back in a few weeks to see which dealers have ordered it.
If the item is from an earlier catalog and has already been shipped to dealers, it may be completely sold out."

There is no GE Dash 9 in 3 rail in the latest catalogue, so I am assuming your only path to ownership is the second hand market.

Thanks MrB

Railking (Steve) replied swiftly, not rendering me too high hopes either. I might have to go on the prowl on e-baySleep ...

Seems that MTH has stopped making 3 Rail AC.

See the discussion here:

They haven't stopped, the number of models available has obviously shrunk. Their current catalogue was published in Sept 2017. There are only a handful of models available based on this edition. What happens in the future is unknown.

Here in the states, I have noticed that MTH rarely seems to produce anything lately. I can't understand how they can still be in business. I understand that they are now owned by Bachmann so who knows what is going on.

I guess one just had to start up a second model railway that will accomodate the American engines...
