Finally! It arrived today. So far 5:0 - our worst year! Cursing

Interestingly, the postmark says, "06:24 26/10/2017".. I believe that this is added at Northgate.. Hmmm..

As I understand it, that mark is what the machine at the Distribution Centre places on the article as it sorts it into the mail run. It goes Distribution Centre -> Delivery Centre -> Posite.. So it looks like it is taking three working days to go from the Distribution Centre to the postie.. It used to be one day..Crying

I had DLC 99x-2

I just tried it too - no chance of any access.

You can take it with humor and say, well they are already all trunken of the magnificent selling of their SNCF 241 and year end party.

Or you take it serious, then it is another example of their poor marketing department and understanding of service competence.

Double Grumble Grumble : Arrived today also about 1400 hrs . Must have been all the holidays that have delayed this very important mail for the mob down under . Again there is a stamp with "DLC996-2 11:23 28/12/17 at the bottom right corner " which is something to do with OZZY POST delivery into their sorting facility .

Cheers & A Happy New Year to you all

Tom in Oz .

It didn't make any difference as we still got it on the same day.. Mellow

I think that the difference is space on planes to Australia vs NZ.. No one wants to go to NZ so there is plenty of space on the plane for freight.. Lots of people love coming to Australia, especially to get away from the cold European winter, so we have to wait longer for our parcels and Insider magazines.. It is the only thing that makes sense.. Huh

Wrong again!

Migration to NZ has been running hot for several years now, which has been fueling rising house prices in NZ. Big political hot potato here, so I won't say any more.

The point is that the planes are chokka with people!

Probably more to do with Oz being dis-organised and inefficient....

Hi,

I've just received mine today.

It's true I live in a small village and the post service is slow, specially in Christmas, but I feel like living even further NZ or Australia because I've received later than them!!

Just for your information,

So I'm curious, as I've got my first such Certificate on its way, what does one DO with these certs? I suppose its good if your sell yours that you can prove you are the original owner, if that matters. Do folks hang them on the wall?

Why do you not ask this dealer?

https://www.besserepreis...ckung-rheingold-1928.htm

or here

https://www.michelstaedt...ung-rheingold-1928-ep-ii

or here

https://www.menzels-loks...kung-Rheingold-1928.html

But indeed, a lot of dealers set it already to sold out. But BRAWA is offering a similar train too. Get a look at modellbahnshop-lippe.

https://www.modellbahnsh...-de-p-0/ein_produkt.html

or here

https://www.modellbahnsh...-de-p-0/ein_produkt.html

Do you have any idea why so many people want to buy just this train?

One month late???

I received my Insider package German (same content as kiwiAlan mentioned in his post #297) on January 29th, 2018. This was 3 days to "early", because the new Märklin Magazin was due to February 1st - as it normally appears.
