Dutch railways have revealed the prototype of the ICNG (Inter City New Generation).
Total 79 trains ordered from Alstom,with an option for more.
Servicespeed will be 200 km/h.
First trains will be on the tracks in 2020/2021.
The prototype is a mockup without wheels.
A selection of NS clients had a say in designing the interior.

Nicknames sofar known are "Bij" ("Bee") and "Wasbeer" ("Raccoon").
