Our CS2 ( updated ) had started to flash red and the power in the rails had disappeared !

I start up the CS2 because I need it with power on, when I am installing some Viesmann signals with some of the open ports in our 19 Lenz 150 ( chosen because they are working with AC for the turnouts ).

When I close it down, it start up normal, when it start up normally again, but after a weil it start to flash.

Had anyone seen this problem ?

And is there a cure for this ?
Best regards

Cool

Hello Jørgen.

Long time - no see BigGrin

My first guess, and it is a guess, is that your CS2 sees a short circuit somewhere.

Try to disconnect everything, and start it up again.

Send my regards to Birgit.

Per.

First to check...did you used Lenz LS150 with the CS2 before you did updated CS2?
Second...what is open ports for the Viessmanns signals?
Third...if you did used those things before you did updated CS2 and there was no defaults, then in case it´s not short circuits.

Your input + next one a bit later made me think backwards

It must be something with a short circuit, but normally it will turn the CS2 into full red

So I looked around this morning and found / removed a LED with a resistance + 2 wires and started the CS2

3 "wing signals", where the only thing what had happen since it started to flash, so first red/stop on all 3 for some hours and after green/go.

But the CS2 remained calm, so there is no doubt is was the LED, which made a minor short circuit

To the 3th post I can only say, that the LENZ 150 is running well and I hope that it is good with the AC

So thanks for the quick answers ( particular to "Tobias" from the tower ( People and robbers in Kardemommeby ) with regards from Birgit ).

Best regards

I have question...
How did you solved the problem about Lenz LS150 together with CS2 keyboard?
Keyboard are build to function in a group of the decoder.
4x4=16
Which means 4 decoder and each of them have 4 outputs.
This result 16 turnouts/signals.
But Lenz LS150 do have 6 outputs and it result not correct adress output in the keyboard?
Like this:
First decoder do have 1-6 adress.
Second decoder do have 7-12 adress.
Third decoder 13-18 adress.

Do you like an honest answer - one of my good modelrailway friends took one of them with him home ( he had brought something similar produced from a shop - Togcenter Gentofte - and he calculated it out ).

So now all 19 are working perfect .....

If we shall go deeper into it, then I can talk with him, and we will help as good as we can ?

But all ports is working !

Goofy, you asked Jørgen the exact same question on "Baneforum" more than a year ago, and he gave you the answer:

Jørgen: Glad to see everything working again. BigGrin

The general rule is: If it worked before, and it stop working after you add something; then remove the parts you added.
