Joined: 11/09/2012(UTC) Posts: 77 Location: Ann Arbor		Will the Marklin 6021 and 6035 work with Marklin G scale trains? Someone on eBay is asking me this question and I wasn't sure how to reply since I've only tested them on my Marklin HO layout and trains. Ken

Joined: 17/09/2006(UTC) Posts: 18,769 Location: New Zealand		The 6021 only supports the MM and MM2 protocols, so if your G scale trains can use those protocols then the 6021 will work with them. If the trains require DCC or mfx then you're out of luck.......

Joined: 14/01/2006(UTC) Posts: 1,802 Location: Wurttemberg		Hi Ken, "G-scale" is usually used for products from LGB and other manufacturers where narrow- and regular gauge locomotives run on the same track (45mm) in scales between 1/19 and 1/29. Märklin never offered such trains. Märklin sells 1-gauge trains which are 1/32. They also run on 45mm tracks but the rails have a smaller profile than the G-scale rails. G-scale trains from LGB, PIKO or others usually don't work with the 6021. Digital Märklin 1- gauge trains produced from 1986 - 1993 need the DCC-protocol and don't run with a 6021.
