Hello,
I have two locomotives, a 31021 Wurttemburg C and 37051 BR 05 02, which do not maintain a constant speed going down hill.
Was wondering if there is a CV value which I could change to correct this. A buddy of mine who uses ESU decoders told me it was called "back EMF", but I do not see that as an option on the Marklin mfx decoders. BTW, all of my many other locomotives work fine going down the same slopes so I know it is not the incline of my slopes.
thank you,
Marklin:CS2 and TrainController Gold v10

Hi!
Who knows. Maybe these two are your only locos with a coreless motor and a gear without wormdrive.

Theoretically those mfx decoders use back EMF out of the box. But maybe ESU decoders do it better, braking the motor on the downhill slope.

How steep is the incline?
Regards
Tom
