I've just setup my new 39095 steam loco and it looks a beauty. It runs very well, however, the bell rings too many times in momentary option - 6 times. Cursing Cursing Cursing

Is it possible to change a CV value or similar so that bell only rings 2 or 3 times?

Regards
Greg

Hi Greg,

To that I am pretty sure you will have to configure it in DCC mode.

Looking at the manual there is no CV tables for DCC and I am not sure if DCC is actually enabled in this locomotive (or maybe with limited functions only)?

As far as I know the conversion decoders or stand alone decoders are enabled with DCC, but series production locos from Marklin are not always...

And as usual the documentation from Marklin on their decoders is very weak, compared to e.g. ESU.

Had the same problem with another loc.

Move the bell to switching function and put the timer on - 1 or 2 sec.
