The NS service schedule for 2018 will commence on 10th December 2017.
One of the major passenger stretches is Amsterdam to Eindhoven vice versa.
In order to create more seats per hour it has been decided to run a direct intercity every 10 minutes,that is 6 trains per hour during daytime.
Most will not stop anywhere in between,with a traveltime of 78 minutes.
Most likely the double deck VIRM EMUs will be used for the service.
Eventually these type of services will do away with timetables altogether,there will be a train every some many minutes anyway.
