It varies.. I have just been looking through my database for the insider cars of the past 10 years.. The best was November of the same year and the worst was September of the following year. Typically, it does seem to come in Jan/Feb of the following year. That is the 2011 wagon arrived on 25/1/2012.. The 2016 wagon was here on 26/11/2016.. Perhaps you can take that as Nov/Dec of the same year? There are lots of factors for Australia.. Sometimes things are sent to the dealer by air and sometimes by sea. I understand that it is not something Marklin controls. It seems to be a decision taken by DHL..

Wow - that is a killer delay.

I have not been an Insider for over 15 years until just last Spring. Of course back then you didn't get a new wagon or half the printed material that you get today although it costs a whole lot more now.

I have not been able to get my dealer to order that car for me yet due to a glitch on his website, but tomorrow is another day. BigGrin
Regards,
Jim

I have almost all Märklin and mostly HO, although I do have a small number of Z gauge trains!
So many trains and so little time.

My US dealer indicated they will not get the car till late in the year (ie not holding the BR103 loco for that late arriving car).. so late in the year seems the schedule.

Hi. Every year is different. Think of it like a regular new item. It is listed on the March 2017 delivery page on their website as

now due to arrive in June of 2017. Peter Cool
